Farm strung up on city tax
The Queensland Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association has gone into bat for a large SEQ farming enterprise, which was charged an additional $220,000 in back taxes by the State Government because its activities in the Lockyer, Somerset and on the Darling Downs were deemed to be ‘non-regional’.
