Policy problems bring tax pain to growers
Queensland horticulture growers are being caught out by a regional payroll tax discount that is too complex to apply, with Queensland Fruit & Vegetable Growers calling for a review of the policy and an end to the pursuit of back payments from businesses that made honest mistakes.
